“I found myself a month or so down the river from an un-amicable split where I wasn’t left with many answers, I found myself excavating a little and I wrote four new songs. the content seemed to work with a more “night time” approach, rather than what I normally do. I took a lot of influence from The Horrible Crowes, and American Football, as well as the new Into It. Over It record and Springsteen’s Nebraska.”

The title was inspired by The Wonder Years’ Dan Campbell who put out a book of poems on No Sleep Records.
